Within the interview granted by the general manager of SC REMATHOLDING Co SRL, Sofian Mihai, for ECOLOGIC magazine, Matei Dumitru, the author of the article named “if there is scrap, there is industry” wrote:

“[…]Regarding major players in the recycling industry from Romania there was very little known. We proposed that starting this number to present some of those. Who are they, how they have started their business and what do they want to make for future? Why are we starting with Mihai Sofian? Maybe because he is a completely atypical character in this varied world. Open-minded, cheerful and without malignancy, Mihai Sofian is certainly  a name within the recycling industry from Romania. In the scrap business world with many have entered, but few resisted. Only some prospered. Besides knowledge and professional training necessary,but not sufficient for the development of such  business, there is needed something else, money, trustful partners, a lot of work and will. The will to succeed from zero in the competition with the richest ones, the most influent and the least scrupulous ones. Few of them have given a chance to Misu Sofian several years ago. Now he is a respected character by all those counting on the scrap recycling market from Romania, even if not all are admitting it. He is an exigent chief, but loved by his employees, to who he succeeded to give them something –the will to succeed and  confidence  in success […]”
